Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 packs cream cheese
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
  3. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with brown sugar and melted butter.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  5. Beat cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth.
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
  7. Stir in vanilla and salt.
  8. Pour the filling over the crust and bake for about 50 minutes.
  9. Let cool, then add a layer of sour cream on top.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
  • Can be made a day in advance.
