- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 packs cream cheese
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toast the pecans in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with brown sugar and melted butter.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- Beat cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla and salt.
- Pour the filling over the crust and bake for about 50 minutes.
- Let cool, then add a layer of sour cream on top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
