  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. In a clean bowl, whisk egg whites until frothy, then gradually add sugar until glossy peaks form.
  3. Add vanilla extract and vinegar, then mix gently.
  4. Spread the meringue on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for about 90 minutes or until crispy on the outside.
  6. Let cool completely.
  7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread whipped cream over the cooled meringue and top with fresh berries.
