  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 2 cups potatoes diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in the slow cooker on sauté mode.
  2. Brown the beef chuck roast on all sides, then remove and set aside.
